The love for Cricket prevails at any time of the year and is particularly driven to madness when it is the ICC World Cup. This year after 4 years, cricket world cup tournament is back with a strike. Australia has successfully bagged the trophy five times out of the 11 times the world cup was played. But India is one of those 5 countries which have won it at least once. Strong teams like that of South Africa has never had the opportunity to hold the trophy. So which are the teams playing for the trophy this year?

After the qualification round, the teams chosen for the World Cup 2019 are - England, Australia, Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and West Indies. England will be hosting the matches for the fifth time. Previously in the years 1975, 1979, 1983 and 1999 the world cup was organized in England. This year Zimbabwe won’t be on the chart. This is the first time a world cup will be played without team Zimbabwe. After the fixtures will be over, the qualifiers will face each other on July 09, 2019, and on July 11, 2019. The two finalists will have a combat on July 14th 2019. It will be fascinating to see if the title holders will be able to defend the title or a new team will get the chance to hold the trophy.
